Fault Code 14

Fault Code 14:

1. Remove ATC control, then disconnect electrical connector and measure resistance between pins 7 and 9. Resistance should measure between 3000 and 41,000 ohms with temperature between 30°F and 120°F.
- If resistance is not within specifications, proceed to step 2.
- If resistance is within specifications, replace ATC control.
2. Disconnect 16-Way electrical connector from ATC unit, located above the PVM. Measure resistance between pins 10 and 14 of female connector held in place by metal bracket.
- If resistance is within specifications, repair circuit between ATC and 16-Way male connector and recheck system.
- If resistance is not within specifications, proceed to step 3.
3. Remove ambient sensor and measure resistance.
- If resistance is within specifications, repair circuit between sensor and 16-Way female connector.
- If resistance is not within specifications, replace ambient sensor.
