Identification of System

The following systems are part of the Body System and can be identified as follows:

Automatic Door Locks - This feature will lock all the doors when the vehicle speed reaches 15 MPH and no doors are ajar.

Electronic Instrument Cluster - The electronic cluster option can be easily distinguished from the mechanical cluster by its digital and linear displays.

EVIC Head Monitor - This option can be identified by the presence of an overhead console with a digital display and six control function buttons.

Headlamp Doors - Standard equipment on New Yorker and Imperial models.

Illuminated Entry - Can be identified by lifting on either of the outside front door handles. If the courtesy lamps light without the door opening, this feature is present on the vehicle.


Intermittent Wipers - This feature is standard on all AC and AY body styles.
