Combination Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disarm airbag as outlined under ``Precautions.''
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove tilt lever and upper and lower steering column covers.
4. Remove turn signal switch to column retaining screws.
5. Disconnect turn signal switch electrical connections.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque turn signal switch to column screws to 17 inch lbs.
b. Rearm airbag as outlined under ``Precautions.''
