Sunroof / Moonroof Module: Service and Repair

NOTE: The numbered call-outs in the following service procedure refer the numbered parts found in the exploded view diagram.

REMOVAL
1. Remove headlining as necessary to gain access to sunroof controller (43).
2. Disengage controller wire connector from controller harness extension wire harness (58).
3. Disengage position sensor wire connector (35) from controller.
4. Disengage drive motor wire connector (48) from sunroof controller.
5. Remove fasteners (45) holding controller to sunroof module.
6. Separate controller from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place controller in position on sunroof module.
2. Install fasteners (45) to hold controller to sunroof module.
3. Engage drive motor wire connector into controller.
4. Engage position sensor wire connector into controller.
5. Engage controller wire connector into controller extension harness.
6. Install headlining.
