Wiper Switch: Service and Repair


MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH

REPLACE

1. Disarm airbag as outlined under "Precautions."
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove tilt lever and upper and lower steering column covers.
4. Remove multi-function switch to column retaining screws.
5. Disconnect multi-function switch electrical connections.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque multi-function switch to column screws to 17 inch lbs.
b. Rearm airbag as outlined under "Precautions."
