Clutch Break-In

CLUTCH BURNISH
After a new clutch has been installed and voltage and amperage are determined to be satisfactory, cycle the clutch as approximately 5 sec. on and 5 sec. off for 20 cycles with the system in A/C mode, high blower, engine rpm at 1500-2000. This procedure (burnishing) will "wear-in" the opposing friction surfaces and provide a higher clutch torque capability.
