NOTE: ^ The charge temperature sensor and coolant sensor are not interchangeable. Interchanging these sensors can cause; rough running, lack of power, an extremely rich air/fuel ratio, or a no start condition, (plugs will be fuel fouled).

^ Due to the similarities in appearance, connector type and thread, it is possible to install one in place of the other. Be sure the part being installed is the correct part.

Removal

1. Disconnect sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove sensor.

Installation

1. Install sensor. Torque to 60 in-lbs (7 Nm).
2. Connect electrical connector.
