Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Throttle Position Sensor And Idle Air Control Motor Location:

Removal

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect sensor wiring at sensor.
3. Remove mounting screws (2), and lift sensor off throttle shaft.

Installation

1. Install sensor on shaft and tighten mounting screws to 17 in-lbs (2 Nm)
2. Attach wiring to sensor and connect negative battery cable.
