Hydraulic System Bleed
The clutch hydraulic system must be bled whenever the system has been opened for any reason or when performance is not satisfactory.1. Connect a clear plastic hose to slave cylinder bleeder screw valve and submerge other end of hose in a clear container of clean DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid.
2. With parking brake applied, pump clutch pedal several times, then fully release.
3. Open bleeder valve, then depress clutch pedal to floor and hold.
4. Close bleeder valve, then release pedal.
5. Repeat procedure until bubbles can no longer be seen emerging from bleeder valve. Keep clutch master cylinder full of clean DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid.
6. Ensure bleeder valve is closed, then inspect clutch operation.
