Electronic Brake Control Module: Description and Operation

The Controller Anti-lock Brake System (CAB) is a microprocessor device which monitors wheel speed and controls ABS and traction control functions. It contains two microprocessors which receive the same signals, then independently process that information. The two microprocessors then compare signals to make sure they agree with each other, if not the CAB will shutdown ABS and traction control functions and turn on warning lamps.
