Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair

Traction Control Switch Location:




The Traction Control Switch is located within the instrument cluster hood, just to the right of the steering column. Removal of the cluster hood is necessary for switch service.

REMOVAL

Mask/Lens Retaining Screws:




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable.
2. Remove cluster hood. Refer to Cluster Hood Replacement.
3. Disconnect harness connector from Traction Control Switch.
4. Gently push in on all four of the retaining tabs on the back of switch. Push switch through front of cluster hood.
5. Remove switch from cluster hood.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
