Windshield Washer Nozzle Plugging

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the windshield washer nozzle with revised parts.

MODELS:

1999 - 2000 (JA) Breeze/Cirrus/Stratus
1999 - 2000 (JX) Sebring Convertible

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Windshield washer nozzle(s) plug. Nozzle(s) may be cleared with compressed air but plugging returns.

DIAGNOSIS:
If vehicle exhibits this condition or owner describes this condition and washer system is functioning properly up to the nozzle(s), perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

THIS REPAIR IS COMPATIBLE WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER'S MOBILE SERVICE PROGRAM AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HOISTS OR OTHER FULL SERVICE FACILITY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.

1. Disconnect washer fluid hose. Using a needle nose pliers, squeeze together the locking tabs on the nozzle, remove nozzle.

2. Install revised nozzle making sure both locking tabs are securely snapped into position. Connect washer fluid hose.

3. Verify system operation.
