Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
The Blower Motor Resistor is used on manual Heater-A/C systems only.

Negative Battery Cable Remote Terminal:




1. Open hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.
2. Remove lower right underpanel silencer/duct.
3. Disconnect wiring connectors on blower motor resistor.
4. Remove blower motor resistor retaining screws.
5. Pull blower motor resistor out of heater housing.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
