Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair
MAP Sensor:
The
MAP sensor mounts to the driver side of the intake manifold plenum.
REMOVAL 1.
Remove the negative battery cable.
2.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the
MAP sensor.
3.
Remove bolts from sensor.
4.
Remove sensor.
INSTALLATION 1.
Bolt sensor to intake.
2.
Attach electrical connector to sensor.
3.
Install the negative battery cable.
