Water Pump

DESCRIPTION






The water pump has a cast aluminum housing with a stamped steel impeller. The water pump bolts directly to the engine block, using a gasket for pump to block sealing. The water pump is driven by the back side of the engine timing belt.

OPERATION
The water pump is the heart of the cooling system, pumping the coolant through the engine block, cylinder head, heater system, hoses, and radiator.
