Side Impact Airbag Control Module

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable terminal.
2. Remove the lower B-pillar trim from the appropriate side of the vehicle. Refer to Body, Interior, B-Pillar Lower Trim, Removal.
3. Remove the three SIACM retaining screws and remove the module from the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the SIACM electrical connector.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the SIACM electrical connector.
2. Place the module in the slot on their respective B-pillar. Install the three SIACM retaining screws. Torque screws to 5.7 - 7.9 Nm (50 - 70 lbs.)
3. Install the lower B-pillar trim on the appropriate side of the vehicle. Refer to Body, Interior, B-Pillar Lower Trim, Installation.

WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. REFER TO ELECTRICAL, RESTRAINTS, DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM FIRST.
