REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Lower door glass to approximately 50 mm (2 in.) from bottom.
2. Remove door trim panel (detach link/inner belt weatherstrip/power lock connector).
3. Peel away lower edge of watershield to gain access to regulator lift plate.
4. Loosen glass clamp screw (unscrew only enough to allow glass removal), and remove (or rest away from the liftplate) the door glass.
5. Using a blunt instrument, pry the upper (plastic) glider from the liftplate.
6. Replace the glider with the revised glider, p/n 05086214AA, ensuring that it is fully bottomed out to the liftplate. Secure with Mopar Bond All Gel, p/n 4467709, (instantaneous bond).
7. Place the door glass into the regulator clamps. Raise the door glass into the full (closed) up position. Tighten the glass attachment clamps to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.).
8. Secure the watershield and verify it is fully seated with no wrinkles or tears. If damaged, or will not seal, replace the watershield.
9. Replace door trim panel (attach link/weatherstrip/connector).
10. Verify operation of door glass, door handle and lock.
