Power Door Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open the access panel in the right rear interior quarter trim panel.




2. Remove the pneumatic supply line (2) from the fuel door lock actuator.

NOTE: Use caution when removing fragile pneumatic supply line fitting.

3. Release the lock pin from the lock actuator by pulling the handle (1) fully rearward.




4. Press the locking tab on the fuel door lock actuator and rotate the fuel door latch (1) 90°. Remove the fuel door lock actuator from the vehicle.


INSTALLATION
1. Install the fuel door lock actuator through the access panel in the right rear interior quarter trim panel and align it with the mounting hole.




2. Install the fuel door latch into the access hole and rotate 90°. Press the handle (1) in fully to guide the fuel door latch.
3. Insert the fuel door lock actuator into the fuel door latch and press together firmly until locking tab is seated fully.
4. Install the pneumatic supply line (2) to the fuel door lock actuator.
5. Close the right rear interior quarter trim panel access panel.
