Radiator Cooling Fan: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the radiator fan harness connector (1).





3. Remove the coolant hose (1) from the mounting bracket (2).





4. Remove the radiator fan hold down clamps (1).
5. Lift the radiator fan up and out of the vehicle.


INSTALLATION

Note: The two retaining studs of the radiator fan must be located at the bottom in the rubber mounts. Lightly lubricate the two retaining studs (1).





1. Position the radiator fan in the rubber mounts.





2. Install the radiator fan hold down clamps (1).





3. Route the coolant hose (1) through the bracket (2) on the radiator fan.





4. Connect the radiator fan harness connector (1).
