OIL PAN
REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Drain engine oil and remove oil filter.
3. Remove accessory drive belt splash shield.
4. Remove structural collar. Engine Mount
5. Remove lower torque strut.
6. Remove oil filter adapter and gasket (Fig. 101).
7. Remove oil pan and gasket (Fig. 101).
8. Clean oil pan and all gasket surfaces.
INSTALLATION
1. Apply Mopar Engine RTV GEN II at the oil pump to engine block parting lines (Fig. 102).
2. Install oil pan gasket to the block.
3. Install pan gasket and pan. Tighten screws to 12 Nm (105 inch lbs.).
4. Install oil filter adapter and gasket (Fig. 101).
Tighten screws to 12 Nm (105 inch lbs.).
5. Install oil drain plug and oil filter.
6. Install structural collar.
7. Install lower torque strut.
8. Lower vehicle and fill engine crankcase with proper oil to correct level.
