Downstream O2 Sensor

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

NOTE: The left side O2 sensor is shown. The right side is similar.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the O2 sensor harness connector.
4. Remove the O2 sensor (1).

INSTALLATION




1. Apply anti-seize compound to the threaded portion of the O2 sensor.
2. Install the O2 sensor (1). Tighten to 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the O2 sensor harness connector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
