Front Door Striker: Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR LATCH STRIKER

REMOVAL

COUPE

Coupe:

1. Mark outline of door latch striker (7) on B-pillar (5) to aid installation.
2. Remove screws attaching door latch striker to B-pillar (5).

CONVERTIBLE




1. Mark outline of door latch striker (1) on B-pillar to aid installation.
2. Remove screws attaching door latch striker to B-pillar.

INSTALLATION

COUPE




1. Install door latch striker into the door.
2. Install screws attaching door latch striker (7) to B-pillar (5) loosely.
3. Align door latch striker (7) to outline marks on the B-pillar (5).
4. Tighten screws attaching door latch striker to B-pillar.
5. Check door alignment and adjust as necessary.

CONVERTIBLE




1. Install door latch striker (1) into the door.
2. Install screws attaching door latch striker to B-pillar loosely.
3. Align door latch striker to outline marks on the B-pillar.
4. Tighten screws attaching door latch striker to B-pillar.
5. Check door alignment and adjust as necessary.
