Exhaust Pipe/Muffler Hanger: Service and Repair

SUPPORT BRACKETS AND ISOLATORS

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect isolator from exhaust system component.





2. Remove screws attaching isolator bracket to underbody .
3. Remove isolator assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Position isolator bracket to underbody and install attaching screws. Tighten bracket screws to frame rail to 8.5 Nm (75 inch lbs.) and bracket screws to the rear panel to 3.7 Nm (33 inch lbs.).
2. Connect isolator to exhaust system component.
