Cabin Air Filter / Purifier: Description and Operation

Some models are equipped with an air conditioning system air filter. The filter is mounted under the hood in the outside-air intake of the HVAC housing. The filter should be checked and replaced at least once every 24,000 km (15,000 miles) and checked if A/C-heater system performance seems lower than expected.
