SUBJECT:
Steering Column Power Tilt Inoperable

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves flashing the Memory Seat Module (MSMD), replacing the steering column power tilt coupling and two steering column support brackets.

MODELS:

2005 - 2006 (LX) 300C

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicle equipped with a power tilt and telescoping steering column (sales code SUB).

NOTE:
The flash portion of this bulletin should be performed on all applicable vehicles built prior to June 15, 2005 (MDH 0615XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Steering column will not tilt up or down.

DIAGNOSIS:

Attempt to tilt the steering column by moving the tilt/telescope stalk switch on the left side of the steering column up and/or down, if the column does not move perform the Repair Procedure.
