B210D-BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW

WHEN MONITORED
Whenever the battery is connected.

SET CONDITION
When the module senses battery voltage below 9.0 volts, this code will set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- trouble code present
- Fused B+ high resistance
- Window module

Diagnostic Test

1. DTC PRESENT

With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's.
Cycle the ignition switch from On to Off to On.
Start the engine.
Run the engine at approximately 1500 RPM for 1 minute.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Q: Does the scan tool display B210D-BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW?

YES: Go To 2
NO: The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Check the charging system. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test




2. FUSED B+ HIGH RESISTANCE

NOTE:
- Left module shown - right module similar.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and serviceable before proceeding.

Disconnect the Window Regulator Module connector.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Fused B+ circuit.

NOTE: The test light must illuminate brightly. Compare the brightness to that of a direct connection to the battery.

Q: Does the test light illuminate brightly?

YES: Replace the Window Regulator Module. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
NO: Repair the Fused B+ circuit for high resistance. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
