Hood Insulator / Pad: Service and Repair

SILENCER - HOOD

REMOVAL




1. Open and support the hood.
2. Remove and discard the ten retaining clips (1) that secure the silencer (2) to the hood (3).
3. Remove the silencer from the engine compartment

INSTALLATION




1. Position the silencer (2) to the hood (3).
2. Install ten new retaining clips (1) to secure the silencer to hood.
3. Close the hood.
