Installation






INTAKE MANIFOLD




1. Clean all gasket surfaces.
2. Replace intake manifold gasket.
3. Install intake manifold, tighten bolts to 25 Nm (220 in. lbs.).
4. Install the fuel rail assembly to intake manifold. Tighten bolts to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.).




5. Connect fuel injector electrical connectors (4).
6. Inspect quick connect fittings for damage, replace if necessary.
7. Connect fuel supply hose (3) to fuel rail assembly. Check connection by pulling on connector to make sure it is locked into position.




8. Install air cleaner housing (1).




9. Connect negative battery cable (1).
10. Fill the cooling system.




11. Start engine and check for leaks.
12. Install engine cover.
