Removal

REMOVAL

1. Remove trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel.

2. Disconnect the glass from the regulator by pushing the latch out of the hole in the glass.

3. Remove door latch fasteners (1) and rod link.

4. Remove the eight carrier plate retaining screws and slide the carrier plate out slightly.

5. Disconnect the door lock actuator electrical connector.

6. Remove carrier plate from door.

NOTE: If replacing the carrier plate, transfer the power window motor, the window regulator, the door latch with power door lock actuator (if equipped), the inside door handle and cable, and manual door lock rod.
