NAV SYSTEM OVER TEMP

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Navigation Unit detects internal module temperature exceeds 85°C (185°F). The NAV will suspend operation until the code is cleared.





Diagnostic Test

1. DTC INTERMITTENT CONDITION
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from on to off and then back to on.
Turn the Navigation System on and try to select a location.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display NAV SYSTEM OVER TEMP?

No

- The condition is not present at this time. Try removing and reinstalling the disc several times and operating the Navigation System. With the scan tool, recheck for any DTCs.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

Yes

- Replace the Navigation Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
