ABS Messages Not Received

ABS MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
When the Cluster is powered up.

- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the Cluster does not receive PCI bus messages from the module for 5 seconds.





Diagnostic Test

1. COMMUNICATION DTC PRESENT
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, attempt to communicate with the module in question.
Does the scan tool communicate with the module in question?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- REFER TO COMMUNICATION. Communications - Verbose Codes
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

2. CLUSTER
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the Cluster.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- The condition is not present at this time. Monitor scan tool parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Search for any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connector terminals.
