Pinch Sensor - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
3. Remove the liftgate lower trim panel, Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Disconnect the pinch sensor wire harness connector (2).
5. Remove the screws (4) holding the pinch sensor (1) to liftgate.
6. Disengage the retaining clip at the top of the pinch sensor.
7. Feed the pinch sensor wire harness out of the wire harness routing hole in the liftgate (3) and remove the sensor from the vehicle.
