REMOVAL










1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Remove the wiper module. Wiper Arm Linkage - Removal.
3. Disconnect spark plug wires.
4. Remove bolts (2) fastening crossover pipe (1) to exhaust manifold.
5. Disconnect and remove the upstream oxygen sensor.
6. Remove the heat shield attaching screws.
7. Remove the upper heat shield.
8. Raise vehicle on hoist and remove drive belt shield.
9. Disconnect downstream oxygen sensor connector.










10. Disconnect catalytic converter pipe (4) from exhaust manifold.










11. Remove bolts attaching exhaust manifold (5) to cylinder head and remove manifold.
12. Inspect and clean manifold. Exhaust Manifold - Cleaning. Exhaust Manifold - Inspection
