SECOND ROW - EXCEPT SWIVEL
WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury during and following any seat belt or child restraint anchor service, carefully inspect all seat belts, buckles, mounting hardware, retractors, tether straps, and anchors for proper installation, operation, or damage. Replace any belt that is cut, frayed, or torn. Straighten any belt that is twisted. Tighten any loose fasteners. Replace any belt that has a damaged or ineffective buckle or retractor. Replace any belt that has a bent or damaged latch plate or anchor plate. Replace any child restraint anchor or the unit to which the anchor is integral that has been bent or damaged. Never attempt to repair a seat belt or child restraint component. Always replace damaged or ineffective seat belt and child restraint components with the correct, new and unused replacement parts listed in the Chrysler Mopar(R) Parts Catalog.
1. Lift the cover and remove the screw (3) that secures the second row seat belt and retractor (5) lower anchor to the bracket (4) on the floor panel (right side only) or directly to the floor panel (left side only) near the base of the C-pillar (1).
2. Remove the trim panel (2) from the quarter inner panel. Quarter Trim Panel - Removal.
3. Unsnap and discard the trim cover (4) from the height adjuster (2) on the upper C-pillar (10) to access the second row seat belt turning loop screw (3). The trim cover is not intended for reuse.
4. Remove the screw that secures the turning loop to the height adjuster.
5. Remove the turning loop from the height adjuster.
6. Remove the upper trim (1) from the inside of the C-pillar. C-Pillar Trim Panel - Removal.
7. Remove the screw (6) that secures the seat belt and retractor (5) bracket to the lower C-pillar.
8. Lift the retractor upward far enough to disengage the retractor tab from the keyed slot in the C-pillar.
9. Remove the second row outboard seat belt and retractor from the C-pillar as a unit.
10. On the right side only if necessary, remove the screw (9) that secures the lower anchor bracket (8) to the floor panel (7).
11. On the right side only if necessary, remove the anchor bracket from the floor panel.
