Console: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION





There are two types of overhead console (1) available on this vehicle. Both are equipped with two reading and courtesy lamps (4). On vehicles equipped with a power sunroof, the sunroof switch (3) is located between the two reading and courtesy lamps. On vehicles equipped with automatic climate control an infrared temperature sensor (2) is located on the back edge of the overhead console. The overhead console is mounted with two molded plastic tabs at the rear of the overhead console and one center retaining clip at the front on the High line model. The Low line model utilizes the reading and courtesy lamp lens as the forward retaining clip. Both provide a secure overhead console attachment to the headliner. The center mounting clip on the High Line model also houses the sunroof switch if equipped.
