Convertible Linkage - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Place the convertible top in the vertical position and prop the top in position.
2. Inspect the luggage protector, the luggage protector switch, the side rail weatherstrip retainers and other areas for damage. Replace damaged parts as necessary.
3. Remove the linkage front attaching bolt (3).






NOTE: If the old style S-linkage with the rivet (4) is present, refer to TSB 23-052-07 for replacement procedures.

4. Remove the nut (1) and shoulder bolt (3) that secures the linkage to the top.
5. Remove the linkage (2) from the vehicle.
