Shift Interlock Cable - Installation






INSTALLATION

1. Verify that ignition key is in ACC position.









2. Route the cable into the vehicle.
3. Install the shift interlock cable (1) to the ignition module.
4. Install the cable clips to the center HVAC ducts.





5. Install the lower silencing panel (3).
6. Install the knee blockerKneeblocker - Installation
7. Route shift interlock cable towards shift mechanism.





8. Connect interlock cable housing (2) to shift mechanism.
9. Adjust interlock cable. Refer to cable, shift interlock adjustment, for the appropriate automatic transmission.
10. Install the center console Shifter Housing - Installation.
