NOTE: Before proceeding, Warning Brakes - Caution .

1. Raise and support vehicle. Maintenance




2. Remove wheel mounting nuts (3), then tire and wheel assembly (1).





3. Remove screw (3) securing parking brake cable routing bracket to axle.
4. Remove two bolts (2) securing disc brake caliper and adapter bracket (1) to axle.
5. Remove disc brake caliper and adapter bracket (1) from axle and rotor (4) as an assembly. Hang assembly out of way using wire or a bungee cord. Use care not to overextend brake hose when doing this.





6. Remove any retaining clips, then slide brake rotor (2) off hub and bearing (1).
