Using trim stick (C-4755) or equivalent, release the forward retaining tab and remove the trim (1).
2.
Using a door handle clip tool (1) or equivalent through the seat belt opening of the side cover, rotate the handle (2) up and release the clip using the clip tool (1).
3.
Using special tool C-4829a, carefully pry the recliner handle (2) away from the shield (1).
