Procedures
INSPECTION 1.
Remove
timing chain cover
Engine Timing Cover(s) - Removal.
2.
Remove
oil pan Engine Oil Pan - Removal.
3.
Measure the distance between the tensioner body and the guide shoe as shown.
4.
If the distance is 10.1 mm (0.397 in.) or greater, replace the chain.
