Convertible Top Backlite - Removal

REMOVAL






1. Remove the mid/rear headliner. Convertible Top Headliner - Removal.

2. Disconnect the heated glass electrical connectors (3).





3. Remove the 18 backlite retainer bolts (1).

4. With one person in the vehicle pushing out, working back and forth from top corner to top corner, and two people outside carefully pulling out on the backlite releasing butyl sealer from top.

5. While the window is being removed, butyl will stretch. Carefully cut the butyl sealer as close to the rear panel as possible.

6. Remove the backlite and place face down on a protected surface.
