Exterior Handle - Installation

INSTALLATION






1. Install the center bezel (1) and snap it into place on the liftgate.






2. Connect the power locking latch cable (2) to the exterior liftgate handle.

3. Connect the wire harness connector (3) from the exterior liftgate handle.

4. Install the two bolts (4) that secure the exterior liftgate handle to the liftgate and tighten securely.

5. Install the two bolts (1) that secure the bezel to the liftgate and tighten securely.






6. Install the exterior body panel nuts (1) on both sides of the liftgate.

7. Close the pinch sensor cover (2) on both sides of the liftgate.






8. Install the pinch sensor retaining screw (4) near the cover (3) on both sides of the liftgate (2).

9. Install the pinch sensor cover push-in retainer (1) on both sides of the liftgate (2).
