NOTE:
Before proceeding, Warning Brakes - Caution .
1. Raise and support vehicle. Service and Repair
2. Remove wheel mounting nuts (3), then tire and wheel assembly (1).
NOTE: If vehicle is equipped with 17 inch brake package, there will be a bracket (2) on the lower brake adapter bolt (1) used to protect the lower caliper guide pin boot.
3. Remove screw (3) securing parking brake cable routing bracket to axle.
4. Remove two bolts (2) securing disc brake caliper and adapter bracket (1) to axle.
5. Remove disc brake caliper and adapter bracket from axle and rotor as an assembly. Hang assembly out of way using wire or a bungee cord. Use care not to overextend brake hose when doing this.
6. Remove any retaining clips, then slide brake rotor (2) off hub and bearing (1).
