INSTRUMENT PANEL






NOTE:
A specific sequence (below) must be used to tighten the shifter assembly retaining bolts.

1. Position the shifter assembly, install the four shifter assembly mounting bolts (1-4) and finger tighten.

2. Tighten the four shifter assembly mounting bolts to 11.5 Nm (102 in. lbs.) using the following sequence:

a. Bottom bolt (4)

b. Top passenger side (2)

c. Top drivers side (1)

d. Middle bolt next to electrical connector (3)





3. Carefully position the shifter bezel on the shifter and make sure all four retaining tabs (1) snap into place properly.





NOTE:
Make sure the lock tab is in the lock position after the cable is installed onto the shifter housing (2).

4. Install the shift cable (1, 2) at the shifter.





5. Connect the shifter electrical connector (3).

6. Install the I\P pad Instrument Panel Pad - Installation.
