INSTRUMENT PANEL






1. Remove the I\P pad Instrument Panel Pad - Removal

2. Disconnect the shifter electrical connector (3).





NOTE:
Some components removed for clarity.

3. Disconnect the shift cable (1) from the shifter.

4. Release the lock tab and remove the shift cable (2) from the shifter housing.





CAUTION:
Be careful to pry the shifter bezel retaining tabs (1) more than necessary to remove the bezel or damage may occur.

NOTE:
There are four tabs (1) on the shifter bezel, two on each side and only two are shown.

5. Carefully release the four tabs (1) and remove the shifter bezel from the shifter for access to the retaining bolt near the electrical connector.





NOTE:
Some components removed for clarity.

6. Remove the four shifter mounting bolts (1-4).

7. Remove the shifter.
