Engine may exhibit cold sags during moderate-to-heavy acceleration from a stopped position.

1 - Carburetor Fast Idle Cam PN 4342761
For Manual Transmission Vehicles
1 - Choke Control Switch PN 4049777
Must be ordered separately:
1 - Authorized Modification Label PN 4275086
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Remove original choke switch and install Choke Switch PN 4049777.
If vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, replace the carburetor fast idle cam with PN 4342761..
Use fast idle cam service procedure outlined in the 1984 Rear Wheel Drive Van/Truck Service Manual publication #81-370-4007, page 14-53.
2. Reset fast idle speed to the nominal specification of 1500 rpm.

3. Type the following information on Authorized Modification Label PN 4275086 (Figure 1).
Upper Section
"Installed Choke Switch PN 4049777 and Set Fast Idle Speed to 1500 RPM."
If vehicle has automatic transmission also include:
"Installed Carburetor Fast Idle Cam PN 4342761 and Set Fast Idle Speed to 1500 RPM."
Lower Section
Change Authority - TSB #14-13-84. Dealer Code - your dealer code. Date - date this service performed.
