Emissions Maintenance Light: Service and Repair

After necessary emission maintenance has been performed, reset module as follows:
1. On Rear Wheel Drive Vans, the module is located on or near the brake pedal support. On 1983-86 Pick up Trucks and Ramcharger, the module is located to the right of the steering column. On 1987 Pick up trucks and Ramcharger, the module is located to the right of the glove compartment.
2. Slide module from bracket.
3. Insert a small screwdriver into small hole on module case and close switch.
4. Remove module battery cover and install a replacement 9 volt battery.
5. Position module on mounting bracket.
