7D Checking Ignition Coil Primary Windings

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine harness connector, turn ignition switch to Off position.
2. Disconnect wire from negative side of ignition coil, then connect a voltmeter between negative terminal of ignition coil and ground.
3. Place system in ATM Test Mode Code 01.
4. If voltmeter reads above ten volts, proceed to Test 7 step E.
5. If voltmeter reads between zero and two volts, replace ignition coil.
