NS-11C Checking Injector Control Wire For Open Circuit

Complete No Start Test 11-Step B, before proceeding.
1. With ignition switch Off and injector connector disconnected, unplug 14-way connector from SMEC.
2. Connect ohmmeter between cavity 9 of 14-way connector and Y11 white wire of injector harness connector.
3. Separately connect an ohmmeter between the Y12 tan wire in cavity No. 10 of 14-way connector and the Y12 tan wire of the injector harness connector.
4. If ohmmeter displays continuity, replace SMEC. Inspect terminals in cavity No. 9 and 10 of connector for damage before replacing SMEC.
5. If ohmmeter displays infinity, repair open circuit in Y11 white or Y12 tan wire of cavity 9 or 10 in 14-way connector.
