NS-13B Check Fuel Control Circuits to The SMEC

Complete No Start Test 13-Step A, before proceeding.
1. Connect a diagnostic readout box to engine harness connector, then remove air cleaner.
2. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect 60-way connector from SMEC.
3. Connect injector connector, turn ignition switch to Run position and press ATM button.
4. If fuel sprays from one or both injectors, power board is defective. Replace SMEC.
NOTE: Before replacing the SMEC, check Y11 white and/or the Y12 tan wire for a short to ground.
5. If fuel does not spray from either injector, logic board is defective. Replace SMEC.
